Dr. Omar Daweri’s journey into dentistry was inspired by a transformative personal experience at the age of 12 when a skilled dentist repaired his front teeth following a car accident. This pivotal moment sparked a lifelong passion for the field. Dr. Daweri completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Dubai. Driven by a deep interest in periodontics, he pursued advanced training through a specialized residency at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and a hospital-based residency in periodontics and implant surgery at Ascension Macomb Hospital in Detroit leading to dual certification and master’s degree in periodontics and implant surgery.

As a highly trained periodontist, Dr. Daweri specializes in advanced surgical procedures, including sinus lifts, and bone augmentation, and has a keen interest in the science behind the use of stem cells for soft and hard tissue regeneration. He is committed to excellence in patient care and enjoys restoring both oral health and confidence in his patients.

Dr. Daweri is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology and is board certified in periodontology and dental implant surgery. He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), Peninsula Dental Society, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). In addition, he serves as an officer in the United States Air Force Reserves, reflecting his dedication to service. He is passionate about providing care to veterans in Virginia, demonstrating his commitment to giving back to the community.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Daweri enjoys playing guitar and traveling. He resides in Williamsburg with his wife, who’s a general dentist, and together they share a commitment to advancing oral health. Guided by integrity and a pursuit of excellence, Dr. Daweri strives to deliver exceptional care to every patient he serves.
