Dr. Omar Daweri’s journey into dentistry began at age 12 after a serious car accident. A skilled dentist repaired his front teeth, inspiring a deep passion for dental care that shaped his future.

He completed his undergraduate studies in Dubai, then pursued advanced training in periodontics and implant surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and Ascension Macomb Hospital. This led to dual certification and a master’s degree in periodontics and implant surgery.

As a board-certified periodontist and Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology, Dr. Daweri specializes in surgical procedures such as soft tissue grafting, sinus lifts, bone augmentation, and dental implant placement/repair and full arch surgeries. He has a strong interest in stem cell applications for tissue regeneration and is dedicated to restoring both oral health and confidence in his patients.

Dr. Daweri is a part-time assistant professor at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. He is also a proud member of the ADA, AAP, International Congress Of Oral Implantology, and the Peninsula Dental Society. His service in the U.S. Air Force Reserve reflects his commitment to helping others—especially veterans in Virginia, to whom he continues to provide compassionate care.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Daweri lives in Williamsburg, Virginia where he enjoys cooking and traveling in his free time.
