Meet The Doctor

Dr. Islam Saleh was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt where he also attended dental school at Misr University for Science and Technology (M.U.S.T). He then went on to receive his Master of Science degree in Dentistry from the Universidad de Granada in Spain. After moving to the United States, he completed a fellowship in Periodontics at University of Michigan, and a 3-year residency program at Nova Southeastern University in Florida.

He would describe himself as being very passionate about his work, detail oriented, cheerful and he loves a good laugh. He has lived in different countries with people from different backgrounds, and he is very proud of the friendships he has made over the years. “Everywhere I have been, I have learned to adapt and to be easygoing and open minded,” said Dr. Saleh. Dr. Saleh knew he wanted to be a surgeon since high school! He was drawn to the field due to his love for artwork that he relates to restoring teeth and smiles. He loves the science behind it too and the fact that every detail has been thoroughly studied and investigated and nothing is left to happen by chance. His number one motivation is to help patients get their confidence back either by replacing their missing teeth with implants or by covering their sensitive teeth with naturally present gums. He is a professional member of the ITI (International Team of Implantology) and AAP (American Academy of Periodontology).

In Dr. Saleh’s free time he likes to travel to places such as Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Canada just to name a few. He is fluent in Arabic, Spanish, English, and some German. He loves landscape photography, swimming, trying out new restaurants and foods, and playing chess.
